Will you ever stop doing what you do.?
|
|
I don't think i ever will, i am out in all weather, i am with nature as life intended, i am enjoying everyday,
and my tilly-miss is getting all the exercise a dog ever needs, we meet lots of new faces, have some
good laughs with people, and how surprising so many golfers recognise tilly-miss.

Every man has a loyal friend so they say, and yes i have mine, let me introduce the lady in my life, the one and only Tilly-Miss
a very beautiful 18 month old Jack Russell, I brought Tilly at 6 weeks of age after resting my previous Jack Russell who died at
the age of 18 years, I was very weary of going through all that again, and said i never would, but then my lovely wife told me
a friend was looking to home some puppies, shall we go and look at them, so I did and Tilly was the runt of the litter it seemed,
so i took her home and had all her jabs and a new life began for us all.
On her 1st walk in the woods I found a couple of golf balls, I let her play with them and so the story goes, Tilly has a strange
habit of sniffing out golf balls in any area, very much like a customs dog, sometimes thou she is naughty and runs on to the
green and pinches a ball, but i have been lucky as the golfers see the funny side of her antics.
Tilly is fast becoming a grown adult dog, her antics are changing on a
daily basis, and some days, its very awkward for me to leave the house without
her, she is becoming my constant companion, my shadow as my wife tells me, what
a change to my life since the arrival of the great tilly-miss, i would have
never given any thought to walking and golf ball hunting previously, exercise
was not the order of the day, but now we are out 3 times a day in the local
areas driving in a 50 mile radius doing what tilly-miss loves the most, it seems
finding golfballs, chasing rabbits, and chasing foxes and deer are the priority
in her life, i am always close by and wont let her in fox holes, as she is now
starting to investigate, only yesterday tilly-miss has a confrontation with an
adult fox on the edge of a golf course, i dont know who was more frightened
tilly-miss, the fox, or me, thankfully it was over before it began the fox took
a look and bolted, tilly-miss started chasing, but stopped when i told
her.
Interest in tilly-miss has generated through golfing circles recently, and
i am delighted at the response from great golfing forums where i have decided to
sell our finds, a very good golf forum for golfers is www.golfmagic.co.uk another great resource
for finding partners to golf with is www.igolf.to. be sure to check out these
brilliant sites, hospitality is great.
I will be keeping golfers updated on the antics of tilly-miss in the
future, hopefully a section of where we are travelling to in the future, as we
intend spending weekends around the uk at various courses, if you can help with
advice on any good pubs offering accommodation please let me know.
tilly-missgolf.com is open for business, feel free to view our section of
ready to play balls, mail us direct with your orders and requirements, if we
have in stock we are happy to negotiate a very affordable price, a lot cheaper
than shop charges.
Finally tilly-missgolf is, and about tilly-miss entirely this is not a
business venture or get rich scheme, its about a man and his love of his dog,
proceeds raised through the sale of golfballs
help pay for the well-being and care of tilly-miss, food and vet bills are
essential to the care and upkeep and i go to great lengths in providing
tilly-miss with the best in life, my vet has told me that tilly-miss is in
pristine condition for her age.

Do you ever find anything on a course?
|
|
Yes, indeed, i have found phones, golf clubs, bags, shoe, lighters, umbrellas, all good quality stuff, which i return to a clubhouse.
